The 16th arrondissement

On the west side of Paris, the 16th arrondissement is recognised as the capital's chic, residential neighbourhood.

Peaceful and well-to-do, its dif-ferent localities - Auteuil, Muette, Porte Dauphine and Chaillot - have been growing in strength for several years, supported by a rich cultural life thanks to the Louis Vuit-ton Foundation, Palais de Tokyo, Maison de Balzac, Bois de Boulogne, Jardins des Serres d’Auteuil, and the Jardin d’Acclimatation. The 16th ar-rondissement also plays host to the famous clay courts of Roland-Garros, the Parc des Princes, and the race-tracks of Auteuil and Longchamp. Not forgetting one of the City of Light's most stunning sites: the esplanade of Trocadéro with its captivating view of the Eiffel Tower.

PARC BAGATELLE

With its château, park, rose gardens, water features and free-roaming peacocks, the Parc de Baga-telle invites you to enjoy a romantic and historic stroll. In fact, this green setting is said to have been created in 64 days in 1775, following a bet between Marie-Antoinette and the Count of Artois.
